Growing up in a conservative house, as a child, I grew up to Arabic-dubbed cartoon age. Foreign movies or simply Hind Rostom herself was a taboo in my house. As an adult I questioned the idea of censorship and it’s negativity it reflects on a child’s upbringing. Censorship is really a violation of free speech, critical thinking and individual taste. It creates this paradigm where either something is wrong or right, but no grey area, where you can understand or relate to a certain issue; lacking morality.
